i occasionally (at least once a fortnight) get a chicken kebab from my local take away. i don't know if i'm fooling myself into thinking it's 'healthier' than it actually is, but the contents are usually as follows:

4 large pieces of tikka chicken breast
salad (fresh lettuce, onion, tomato)
a teaspoon of red onions (the kind you usually get with poppadums)
4/5 chilis
a very small helping of mayonnaise
on a naan.

washed down with a [free] bottle of water

now i know the mayo & naan aren't brilliant, but is the rest of it ok (mainly the chicken)?

thanks

The kebab has generous amounts of oil put onto it. And depending on the kind of kebab, it can have malai(kind of butter) greased on it etc. Depends on what you are having. Maybe you can ask the vendor for some details or find out the kind and search online for generic calorie values.

Hope I didn't scare you, its not really bad to have it. But I reserve it to an occasional thing.
