Anyone on prednisone? Sucks.

I just recently got diagnosed with something called DM. On all this medication including prednisone...and if you know anything about that then you know that it makes you gain a *kitten* ton of weight!!!! Terrible. I am 5'6 and I was around 125 pounds. Just where I wanted to be. Now I am 144. Anyone else dealing with trying to lose weight on this medication??

    I hate that stuff! I was put on it for ciguatera toxin poisoning (from fish. Food poisoning). I gained so much weight.

    The next time they tried to prescribe it to me for another illness, I refused!
