My wife is here for a professional conference and I might be on my own tonight.
Staying near Sheffield Hallam University.

    Depends what food you like. If you walk towards the Peace Gardens and Millennium Square (just across the road from Hallam) there are lots of restaurants, there’s a BBQ place called Smoke that has reasonable options, and a good Chinese place called Oisoi that is very nice but pricey. Turtle Bay (near city hall so 5 minutes walk from Hallam uni) is good for Caribbean food. Just behind the station (again close to Hallam) is a good veggie place called South Street kitchen. Hope this helps.
