1000 calories and quick weight-loss

I've been on and off MFP for years. This time, I realized there's a community. Been lurking about a month, commenting here and there. Finally ready to tell a little about myself.
At 25 years old, as a young mom and wife, I was told I was going to die. I'd developed heart failure from anorexia. Most people die, but my heart healed itself.
Cardiologists warned me a sedentary female trying to lose should never dip below 1200 calories, and an active female should be consuming around 1400-1500+. And my 1000 calories/day was considered a starvation anorexic caloric intake.
When the heart fails, excessive water weight packs on. I gained over 100lbs in less than two months time. It also caused excessive loose skin and severe body deformities.
Dropping calories under 1200 for quicker weight loss is not worth the risks. If I'd known the dangers and consequences, would've never been on 1000 calorie diet.
After heart failure, I studied nutrition, health sciences, anatomy and physiology obsessively, so I could maintain my own health and hopefully someday help others. I thought about becoming a doctor, nutritionist, or dietician, but decided it's all too political.
At almost 50 now, I'm still learning new things everyday. Especially in places like MFP.
Back on MFP to track calories once again, because when I want to lose weight, even after 25 years since heart failure, I don't trust myself without tracking calories and nutrients... But since then if I want to lose, I try for the 1300-1500 range.

1000 is way below what's recommended, starvation is not always the solution for weight loss as many people thinks

Thanks!!!
I see a lot of females and, even some, males on here talking about consuming 800-1000 calories a day.
I just want to scream, "NOOOO, STOP, DON'T DO IT."
That's why I finally decided to share my story and experience!3
