Low Impact cardio + weights=๐Ÿ’ฆ

I just started working out again and decided to start with low impact cardio. I wanted to add some resistance to tone my arms and prevent sagging skin so I wear wrist weights (2lb) each and WOW. Turn the sweat factor way up! Does anybody else mix weights with cardio?

But be careful with adding weight to your extremities (such as with ankle or wrist weights), then doing rapid, vigorous movements of your limbs. That can be risky.

This is a pretty sensible, balanced article about wrist and ankle weights, as well as weighted vests:

    I used to.

I find it far more effective to focus on one thing at a time.
