Hey. So I bought an individual yogurt pot: Fage 0% total with blueberry.
On the side of the container it says 67 cals per 100g. The portion size (I double checked by weighing) is 170g. This implies the total is 113.9 - or 114 - calories.
However, when I scan the barcode and add this to MFP, it comes up as 139 calories.
Does anyone understand this?

Many entries in the database are wrong. Double check them especially when using a new product. Also, how many servings does the packaging say are in the container?

The trouble with the idea of the user maintained database, besides the inaccurate and garbage data, is that foods will be different in different places. Formulations of how food are made change in each country/region, even if it is the 'same' food from the same manufacturer. So the entry in the database might be correct somewhere else if it isn't a 'whole' food. Furthermore, companies reformulate and as a result the nutrition information changes. Just because it was correct last year doesn't mean it is this year.

For the most part watch serving size vs container and stick with the label. It's possible a misprinted label sneaks through a packaging design change, but that food is usually recalled fairly quickly. (In the US, I would assume elsewhere but I don't know.)

    Yes. I had assumed that.
Ok, so the pot says 67 cals per 100g, and there are 170g in total. I can see from the ingredients that the blueberry compote ingredients are included, so I am going to take the 67 cals as including the compote and enter this as 114 in my diary xx

Hmm your pot reads very differently then mine, but I am in the US so maybe that's why. My pot reads 110 calories for 150g serving and its 1 serving per container. When I weigh it, its always slightly under weight. I love Fage Total Pots! so good!

Every yogurt I have tried has been under from between 15 and 25 grams.
