Hi, I just joined MFP to see if this method would be better suited for me. I quit WW because of a thyroid issue, and now I'm determined to get back on track to being healthier, but I find that I'm not motivated. I like that there's a discussion group, so maybe there's an inclination to be more accountable. :-)

Hi Catherine I joined last Friday. I am a 50 year old woman battling with fibromyalgia, thyroid issues, hashimotos, anxiety and depression. I was literally bedridden for a few months due to thyroid being low and it flared up my fibromyalgia. I had a dr appointment that Friday and found out I am prediabetic and my thyroid was low again. I have battled with my thyroid for over 22 years. Right after I had my last baby. I love MFP logging in everyday has given me so much motivation to continue the diet and exercise just to see what the next day will do. So far I have lost 5 lbs in 5 days. I love MFP and it’s accountability was just what I needed. I hope it does the same for you!0
