PMS bloating depression

Anyone else feel my pain? Up Two pant sizes in 24hrs. Any tricks on anything I should or shouldn’t eat during this time? I know not to weigh myself 😣

Ha. I can top you. My period started June 17, didn't stop being moderately heavy until July 12, and now I feel premenstrual again.
I was super cranky this afternoon, left work early, and did 88 minutes of yoga.
Been meaning to put this on the "Is it over yet?" thread and to write my GYN, for whatever good that will do.
If you are hungrier, many of us are premenstrually, and eat at maintenance at this time. I find it helpful to keep my protein up so my carbs don't get out of balance.6 -
I'm feeling fluffy at the moment too. I'm not normally into cutesy names, but saying I'm fluffy makes me feel better about it than saying I'm bloated One brings to mind fuzzy little kittens. The other, roadkill.
No advice, just commiseration. I eat at maintenance if I feel like I need to for a few days. And throw in the odd chocolate bar for good measure.
I also tend to wear more flowy dresses instead of fitted trousers to work during this time. In fact, if someone cared enough to be so observant, they could probably track my cycles by my wardrobe..5 -
My fibroids are blown up and I feel like I have a bowling ball in my lower abdomen and a softball in my upper abdomen.3

I’m trying to make healthy sweet choices. This is silken tofu pudding sweetened with dragonfruit and maple syrup

I drink gatorade zero during my period. The electrolytes help the bloating and it gives me a wee bit of energy.

I hear you! Although I have Endo so i balloon up during TOM. Just eat what makes you happy within reason and know it will all pass soon. Focus hard the other 3 weeks of the month1

I found myself eating straight salt yesterday. I stopped licking my hand and got some Ultima, but I still chose the saltiest nuts for snack.2

Like other posters, I try to eat at maintenance for a few days before/during my TOM. I'd like to say half of my diet around that time isn't straight up chocolate in all forms, but I'd be lying to you, and you seem nice so I won't do that.7

Pms. I'm depressed. It's 12.05pm and I've still not made it out from under the duvet. Yesterday I ate 2160 calories of utter junk, and I have the silhouette of a Teletubby.
Frankly, I just go with the flow these days. In ten days I'll be puking and cramping and hemorrhaging for the day, I expect. It's all predictable and consistent. I could make myself miserable by trying to pretend I'm not being beaten up by my hormones today, I could continue trying all the strategies that never seem to work, but why should I?
I'm a woman. Today I'm bloated and miserable. Tomorrow is another day.4 -
Yes I have PMDD symptoms with high anxiety and depression before my period. So I feel extra fat and so I eat extra a lot. I also have too pee... every. two. minutes.
