How many calories in this dish? It is a grilled Norwegian Salmon with sardinian fregola, heirloom tomato salpicon and oil cured olive sea salt.

If you didn't cook a meal yourself, it's impossible to know exactly how many calories are in it. Just find the entries in the database that seem closest to what you ate, and take the higher estimate if there are multiple possibilities.3

You can estimate based on what you think might be in the dish and what the portion size was. Keep in mind restaurants tend to add fat liberally to food, much more than home cooks do. Look up each individual ingredient and add it all together.
For the salmon, a serving the size of the palm of a hand is about 75 grams. A cup of greens/veg/pasta is about the size of your fist, or half a cup is about the size of half a fist. Estimate the portion sizes. Add a few tablespoons of oil/fat to your estimate and you can at least probably get in the ballpark.0
