A varied diet is a healthy diet. Limiting yourself to a few things will most likely cause more harm than good.

probably live, but be malnourished, as you are not getting all your vitamins and minerals with that diet.

In one sense: No law against it.
    In another: Not for long.

I would ask if you were stranded on a deserted island but apparently you have internet access.

The human body is not as fragile as the anti-processed must have healthy all the time people would have us believe. However if you take it to the other extreme for a long enough period it could be quite terrible. It could involve an extended stay at a hospital and it could even kill you.

You can lose weight, if that is your aim, without ridiculous diets. You may not think it is possible because you have unreal expectations and/or you don't understand body weight fluctuations and you misunderstand bathroom scale results.

I would argue that something that bland, boring, and repetitive is not "living".

I don't understand how anyone who is trying to gain weight would think this diet is adequate. Rice cakes are heavily associated with people trying to lose weight and don't mind eating the equivalent of packing material.

If there is an aisle with walnuts and rice cakes where the OP lives how is there not other packaged food items?

This whole thing seems odder now.

I suspect you'd end up with deficient in a number of vitamins and minerals. So you might be able to live off of those things for a short, but I doubt you would be healthy. Long term, no you can't.

If all you have near you are convenience stores then check out the pasta, rice sections as well as what other people suggested the canned and frozen vegetables. Usually there are canned fish items, like sardines, salmon, mackerel and tuna. Add mustard and a little olive oil for flavour. Most cn enience stores even carry some fruit,,like oranges and apples, bananas now days too. Peanut butter on the rice cakes could be a nice desert and snack item.

Short term, sure. If you're sick and that's all you can stomach, go for it.

    Long term, no.

If you tell us more about why you're asking, we might be able to help with long term solutions.

In your other thread, you indicated that you're taking in 3000-3100 calories per day. What are you eating?

That is some serious disordered eating. And if you're having compulsions to eat these very limited diets I think that speaks to bigger issues. You should strive to eat plentiful, variety, nutritious diet.

This must be a joke/troll. Nobody actually thinks this is possible...or healthy.

Sounds like one way to get malnourished really quickly.

I wouldn't claim this is healthy at all.

Some people definitely think they can/should eat extremely restricted diets when they have no medical reason to do so. I've been here long enough and seen enough that I'm hesitant to assume anyone's trolling. We've had people ask serious questions about far more bizarre things.
