I lost 50+ lbs on a moderate Keto diet. In Feb. my gall bladder was removed. I am struggling to find food suggestions. I have maintained weight loss but haven’t lost any more. I try to limit myself to 1200 caps daily. I am also diabetic (2). Some days all I can tolerate are wheat based carbs. Need a little help. Thx🤓

Is there any way you can get a referral to a RD? You've got some competing health conditions in there. Sorry you're struggling :flowerforyou:

Given your situation, I would suggest a visit to a certified dietician to help you. I wish you the best in your recovery.

I had my gallbladder removed years ago, just started keto a month ago.

I remember my digestive system after removal. Couldn't tolerate fats or spices. Had to eat a bland diet. Boiled, baked, roasted, or steamed lean meats, and veggies, lightly seasoned. I ate rice and breads. Avoided oils, fatty meats, and strong or hot spices.

I agree with above comment. Might be a good idea to consult a dietician, at least temporarily until the body adjusts to no gallbladder.

And everyone is different. I've known others after removal, only took a month or two before they could tolerate fats. It took my body about three years.

    Good luck!
