So I had a pretty intense workout at the gym; 60 laps of swimming, pull ups, bicep curls, shoulder shrugs, lateral raises, and a light mile jog. My heart rate won’t fully go down, and I’m feeling a bit jittery. Any tips on how to help the recovery process along?

Lie on your back. Put your legs up on something. Inflate your lungs as full as possible and hold as long as you can. Put your hand over your heart to keep track of the rate. If it doesn't slow down, rinse and repeat.1

I go into SVT a lot, heart rate over 200. If this works for me, usually within minutes, it will work for you.
And RELAX. Breathe and relax.0 -

Well, I'm glad you didn't die on me. That would've ruined my whole day. 😛9
