Hi everyone. I had double hip replacement surgery 4 months ago and since the surgery I have been pain-free and active. For the 6 years prior, I could not move much because of the arthritis in my hips, so now I'm making up for lost time. I am looking for new friends who I can share experiences with in person or online. Let me know what you're up to.

Welcome to the community!
I've had both knees and one hip replaced. Now that I'm a little lighter, my remaining hip doesn't bother me anymore.1 -
That's awesome. I am 62 and before surgery felt like I was 82. Now I feel 42 hahahaha. Cut my age in half and now that I can move, I plan to kill it. Can you add me as a friend?

That's so awesome congrats. I see a surgeon next week about a shoulder repair. While it's not the same joint or problem I like reading stories like this. There's too many horror stories out there2

I had a hip replacement 3 years ago (at 35) related to a congenital issue. I'm so glad to get the weight off to help this joint last as LONG as possible.3
