How do you add friends

New here looking for some weight loss friend but can’t figure out how to add people

    I believe you just click on the person's name link, then on the next screen click on it again to go to their profile. I have never actually done it so I don't know from there. There are a lot of good supportive people here that are good at navigating the News Feed and posting helpful comments. I don't really do any of that.
