Regaining lost muscle

Hello, guys!! I’m wondering how long does it take to regain lost muscle size? I did a cut for about 2-3 months, after 5 months of bulking, and i was able to pretty much maintain my strength, but sadly lost some size. Because of that, I decided to bulk again (I was on maintenance calories for about 2 weeks). I am 3 weeks into bulking now, i increased in strength a little bit and i think my arms and quadriceps grew a bit in size as well, but i’m not seeing any difference in my glutes. Am i being too unrealistic to expect my glutes to grow in size after just 3 weeks of bulking or am I doing something wrong? ) I eat 2400 calories on a normal day and about 2700-2800 on a training day (i want my surplus to be around 300cals, so I can minimize fat gaining). Should I eat more than that or should I just be more patient with my gains?
Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

How long have you been lifting?
If youre a new lifter, 10-15lb of lean muscle per YEAR is not outtve the question if your macros and lifting routine are on point.
If you've been lifting a while 3-5 lb per YEAR is normal.
I also personally think bulking and cutting phases are bull crap. Ik the "pros" do it but most of them are on roids. Theyll gain lean mass not even lifting. As long as you are eating a balanced healthy diet, hitting your protein macros, and lifting heavy and hard you'll put on muscle whether your 300 over or under your maintenence caloric amount.0 -

I run bulk/cut cycles with much success! I am not on anything either, just a normal female. There are definitely other ways to go about gaining muscle but there is nothing wrong with bulks.
I started off almost underweight. If I ate 300 under maintenance there is absolutely no way on Earth I would be putting on muscle. I would most definitely be losing it though.5
