It's long past time I did this

Hi all! I'm back on MFP for the gazillionth time, but I'm truly ready for a positive change. I'm trying to get in to good habits and routines before I have a major foot surgery in the next few weeks. I'll be doing 16:8 IF along with 24 hour fasts on Saturdays and CICO (I've LOVED fasting when I've done it before). Anyone else doing something similar?

I want to be proud of myself and feel like I accomplished the thing I've struggled with most in the last 10 years. If by the end of my healing time I can look at myself, smile and pat myself on the back, I will have the lessons learned to live the healthy, happy life I've only dreamed of for so long.

Introducing myself for the first time is scary, but I really know I need to make myself a part of a community so I can commiserate and not feel so alone in this momentous undertaking. I'd love to help support you fine people, and would like to know I have some support when I'm feeling weak as well! I look forward to accomplishing goals with each and every one of you :)
