Anyone got any tips to help over eating back your calories?

I'm only running about 20 mins at a time just now. I know I've only used about 200 calories and I'm allowing myself to eat back 2/3's to allow for a margin of error. However, as the day goes on, I seem to get more and more fixated with eating more than I should. I'm hanging on but it's strangely gnawing away at me. I'm not normally this bothered on a usual non-running day. I'm losing an average of 1lb a week so my deficit isn't too great.

Any ways of thinking/tricking myself out of it?

    "Runger" is a thing!

Could you try pre-logging a snack for the end of the day, so you know you have something to look forward to that will still keep you at your calorie goal?

You might also need to play around with macros or meal timing on days you run. Maybe focus more on satiating foods on those days? Do you use any calories on pre-workouts or recovery "snacks" that maybe you don't really need? Just thinking out loud

Do you need to eat a bit more before you run?
