Starting - again !

I’ve had MyFitnessPal now for a number of years. I hadn’t been monitoring my weight for a good 18 months until one morning I stood on the scales, yes you’ve guessed it, the weight had shot way. Something had to be done!

I already had MyFitnessPal and an iPhone and I hadn’t realised there was quite a decent app in the phone. My old mechanical scales I’ve had for a good 20 years so I decided to update to a set of smart scales.

I opted for the Withings Smart Scales and they seemed to speak to a lot of other apps mainly because I didn’t want to be tied into a particular eco system. At the moment, because I have my iPhone with me all the time, I’ve decided not to buy a fitness tracker, I’ll let the iPhone do that.

Now to the question. I have an iPhone, MyFitnessPal and a set of Withings Body+ - Smart Body Composition Wi-Fi Digital Scale with smartphone app., and an iPhone. The question: how best to tie them together.

I’m 14st 12lbs and I want to set an initial goal of 14st, loosing loosing 2lb a week , eventually head to 13st. At 71 I don’t think that will be easy. I’ve started to follow the 16:8 diet plan
