So I havent really noticed a difference in the way my body looks but people are starting to notice. A couple of my friends have mentioned that I look thinner but I didn't pay too much attention since I have mentioned that I'm trying to lose weight. Today I went to the drs bc I had some bloodwork to be done and the lady that normally draws my blood asked me if I had lost weight. I got sooooo happy. So now I'm wondering why I'm still not seeing any changes?

You perhaps won't notice because you aren't aware of the little changes that happen every day. People who haven't seen you for a while will have a more extreme comparison, because they'll remember what you looked like last time they saw you.
Your clothes etc. might still fit, but they might be a little bit looser, or sitting a little bit differently - you perhaps won't notice until it's really obvious - e.g. your trousers keep falling down and you need to tighten your belt!
Congrats on your progress so far0 -
It's because of your self image, i have the same problem.
I made a before and after picture for my 30 day challenge and got a lot of good responses here on MFP but i am not seeing difference, only difference i see is when i measure it.
Take a look at my profile pictures, and then the last one, hope you can make it bigger too see numbers, cause no difference on picture imo0 -

The mind always takes a while to catch up with the body. And when you see youself every day gradual changes are hard to notice.
Progress photos can be very useful here - take a picture once a month, in the same outfit if you like, and you will soon start to see the changes.0
