Weight has always been a struggle for me, even when I was a teen. Back then, however, I was very active, hockey, baseball, tennis, golf and alike. Fastforward to the future, I am approaching my 51st birthday and struggling with shedding my 288 lbs frame down; which for some reason 284 is an avenue where I always seem to bounce back up again. My goal is to get down to at least 200, Dr would be happy if I was 210 to 220. I've tried Dr. Poon; great success and got down to 240 once upon time, but... not sustainable... Keto... just not for me... so now just trying to eat healthier, stay away from fast foods and find the right balance. Here we go again!

Welcome to the community!
If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.
Find a way of eating that will be sustainable. Don't eliminate all the foods you like. You'll feel deprived.
Just try to stay in a calorie deficit. Good luck!1 -
Take it slow-one meal at a time. Find new foods and be creative. You can do this.0
