Hello all!
Just wanted a little TDEE help and to see what you all all.
I'm using this awesome resource which I found on this site to calculate TDEE: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
My stats:
150lbs
62 inches tall
30 years old
My job is very sedentary, but at the moment I'm doing the 30 day shred - averaging about five days a week, with one day a week as rest day and one day a Body Pump class.
Am I best to put my activity levels as desk job with little exercise, then eat back my exercise cals on the days I'm shredding/doing classes (gives TDEE -20% as 1394 cals)? Or not log my exercise and up the activity level to 3-5 hours of moderate exercise (Gives TDEE -20% as 1800 cals)?
I'm aware TDEE is oft discussed here, but would appreciate any feedback!
Thanks,
Helen

Based on my understanding of TDEE and the calculation done right you put in your activity level as part of the calculation and those are the calories you eat. Not change your actual activity level then eat back the exercise.
Lots here log their exercise but at 1 calorie when doing TDEE just to keep themselves accountable.
I personally like the calculation I got here
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/10067-eat-train-progress- with a reference to this thread
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/819055-setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets
it is quite different from the one's I have found online and definately makes more sense.0
