Hey ladies,

I am curious to hear sucess stories from women who have managed to maintain, reach, or come close to a healthy weight by eating an average of 2,000 calories a day or more. If you have, please share your exercise routine and any healthy snacks/recipes you regularly enjoy.

In my early 20s I stayed around 115/120 pounds by eating 1,200 or so calories a day, followed by hours of cardio and hardcore binge eating. Not healthy. As I approach 30, I'm only 10 pounds away from my 125 pound goal and I am pretty shocked because I've managed to get here by eating about 2,000 calories a day.

I usually do 2-3 hours of pilates a week with one short run and walking the dog about 2 hours a week. I hope that by adding spin class to my routine once or twice a week I can lose these last 10 pounds :)

Would love to hear your successes! πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰

I eat 2000+ gross calories most of the time while maintaining a weight in the mid-130s at 5'5" and age 63 (after decades of obesity, until 2015). I'm largely sedentary outside of intentional exercise, which in summer (now) is on-water rowing 4 days a week, spin class 2 days a week, and occasional random other fun active stuff more irregularly (biking, swimming, etc.).

While losing, I ate somewhat less, most of the time 1400-1600 net calories, 1600-2000 gross calories depending on the day.

I’m 54 and 145’ish an easily maintain at 2000-2200. I walk an hour a day and lift 3-4 times per week. I’m 90% WFPB, so I eat a LOT of food.

I'm 45, 5'3" and 115-ish. I maintain on 2100 average (according to my Fitbit). I weight train 3x a week for 45 minutes each session. I also do one hour of yoga, one hour of horseback riding, 2-3 hours of pole fitness and 1-2 hours of flexibility training every week. As for diet, I'm an IIFYM kind of gal.

I am 62, 5'6" and 123ish pounds. I've maintained my weight for about 5 years. My net calories are 1600, since I am mostly sedentary outside of deliberate exercise, but my gross is over 2000 most days because I run 35+ miles a week (over 5 days), walk 2-3 miles a day, and do some sort of cross training on one of my rest days most weeks.

I eat pretty much whatever I want. I do limit meals out, because the calories are so high and to save money.
