So I’m just starting out on this journey, I have been overweight my whole life and now I know I need to make a change. I’m 5’2 female weighing about 160 pounds. My goal is to get down twenty pounds in three months and keep it off. Help and support would be great. Wish me luck!

Welcome to the community!
If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.
When you have a relatively small amount to lose, it will typically take longer.
Good luck with your journey!2 -
My wife had a strong health reason for losing weight, but hated calorie counting. (Whereas, I've calorie counted to lose weight.) She instead spoke to a dietitian, who presented her with a set of eating rules to follow. When she follows the rules, she loses weight.
Now, some of the rules are fairly obvious, like not eating sweets and baked goods. But, others are less clear, like drinking lemon/vinegar water before meals. It seems like voodoo to me, but it worked for her.1
