Clubbing as exercise ;)

Hey all,

I'm off out having a night on the town tonight and will be walking about and dancing for a few hours, would you guys log this?

If you go out do you log it, or do you assume it will equal out with what you drink?

I don't. I don't go out any more or less than I ever did, so I figure that's part of my normal activity.

I do log my drinks, though.

That's a good way of looking at it, apart from I never really go out so it's not normal, but this way does mean it'll at least over estimated calorie estimate.

Definitely not. I used to go out "clubbing" and dancing all night in my upper teens and 20s. I was the heaviest I'd ever been then. Drinking all night, then getting hungry at 1am and raiding the fridge. Unless you are only going to drink water and not eat anything extra, then maybe you can log it!

Hmm. Maybe I won't log it. I'll just log beverages, and any late night munchies. Although I fully intend not to have any!!

I log my food and drink and let my Fitbit calculate the rest. It counts dancing as steps so it works well because I'm exerting myself about as much as walking, I figure. But I try not to eat or drink those extras back, just in case.
