Help me with percentages for lower carb...

Hey guys,
What do people generally set their percentages to on here when doing lower carbs? Thanks!

    That's really up to you.

    I used the default settings throughout my weight loss in 2007-08 and I've left it there. However I tend to eat around 45C 35F 20P.

    I've heard low carb described as anything under 150g, though I think most people I've seen on here are thinking more under 100g per day.

    It's really about eating in a way that keeps you feeling satisfied on the right amount of calories.

    I tend to eat 45-50% carbs (200+g) so definitely not low carb :lol:

    I'm still pursuing my goal and right now have it set at 30C 35F 35P. I have adjusted it as I have lost weight.

    The MFP default macros are 50% from carbohydrates, 20% from protein and 30% from fat. I found it helpful to reduce carbs and increase fat and protein, so I am 40 C, 35 F, and 25 P.

    The Low Carber Daily Forum group on mfp is a great group.

    Macros are a common discussion on there.

    If trying to lower carbs, I recommend joining the group.
