I’m 5”5 and started at 184lbs 6 months ago. I had my first child 9 months ago and wasn’t happy with my body after the birth. I felt disgusted with myself and couldn’t even look in the mirror. I’m around 142lbs now and still have a little more weight to lose

I was around 230 in the first pic, and 145 in the second. I've gained 10 lbs this summer and am desperately trying to get it back off. I'm 5'4" and 49 years old.30 -
I can't pick just one these to reply to, because ALL of you are looking utterly terrific and I'm so HAPPY for you all. WOW! These pics of ALL of you are so impressive--YAY Y'ALL!!!!!!6

5'5", 183 pounds to 120-something in the right hand photo, at age 59-60, while severely hypothyroid (but treated), in a little less than a year. I overshot goal a bit there, and am now back up a bit, but still a healthy weight (mid 130s) nearly 4 years later at age 63.
I was already active while obese, so mostly continued the same exercise routine (mainly on-water rowing and spinning classes, a little but not much lifting (more is a better idea, BTW), occasional biking and miscellany). Eating was simply careful calorie counting and sound nutrition eating foods I enjoy, using this approach to gradually remodel my eating:

(Before you ask: Yes, completely flat-chested, post breast cancer, post mastectomies.)
You look amazing well done on the weightloss! I've started being more active recently and I want to start jogging which I think will help my weightloss massively!8 -

Woaaaah what a difference well done! Did you work out much or was it mostly calorie counting?3 -

Be sure to come back and post it *here*, too!0 -
Before and current. I still have 60 lbs to go, but after losing 96 lbs so far, that 60lbs seems easy enough!2

Thank you! It’s been mostly calorie counting. I do use my exercise bike now and again but it’s definitely the calorie counting and logging everything on MFP that has helped me get to where I am 😊

A few years ago I was quite heavy but I ate right and did fitness everyday and now I'm stable at 180 pounds give or take depending on what I eat for breakfast on any given day3
