I can't wait to try it. Saw the owner setting it up as I was wrapping up my last workout.

I am just so excited! Anyone else got anything super exciting at their gym? Super cool!

Seems somewhat pricey given how lightweight/minimal the set up is...must be a huge time saver though (I do not do hip thrusts in pubic gyms mainly because the setup time is both awkward and time consuming).
Latest + greatest here has been bumper plate set up with 3 racks...been installed over a year now. Still in need of a proper hack squat machine or better/more versatile squat machine setup.1 -
I did Strong Curves earlier in the fall, doing hip thrusts without a designated area is a huge pain.
If you just do it against a bench (in my gym, barbells are not close to the standard utility benches) it must be weighted down by either stacking other weights on it or using a heavy partner. Otherwise it tips.
Or you can use the bench press benches, but you have to do it on the narrow end which is weird and in my gym you have to carry over the bumper plates if you want to use them.
Or you can use a smith machine, but it is a limited range of motion.
Or you can use a squat rack, with a bench in it, but it seems like a rude way to take up a squat rack.
Also the standard utility benches don't have padding on the outside edge of the bench, which is not a problem for me but it is for DH, so....
We also got an official deadlift platform recently, which is nice.0 -
A hex (trap) bar! No more scraped shins doing deadlifts.1

So does ours. He’s been barred from the locker rooms.7

I would love a 24 Hour Fitness to open near me. They have machines that no other gym has (unless they are CrossFit gyms) -- Assault Bikes, C2 Rowers (something that LA Fitness is removing like stupid *kittens*) and SkiErgs.0 -

We have assault bikes! and C2 rowers (I'm pretty sure). No SkiErgs, I really want to try one of those!
We don't have 24 hour Fitness here, I attend a locally owned gym (not a chain). It's the only well-stocked locally owned gym that I've tried. Most around here are chains.1
