Small business idea, thoughts?

Hi! I was at the gym this morning and got to thinking about a small business idea. I'm curious if you would be interested in a fresh healthy smoothies/shake pre or post workout?

The idea is to have a small stand inside or just outside large gyms that sells healthy smoothies/shakes. Not those ice cream smoothies, but the legitimate healthy kind with fruits or veggies, almond milk or regular milk, or water/ice and adding different powders based on your needs. Some might want protein powder, some might want a vitamin supplement and so on... Maybe even toss in an espresso shot (my personal favorite with the vanilla protein shake).

Maybe it doesn't have to be inside the gym, but a small stand just our front. Like a hot dog stand, if you will.

Obviously there are kinks to work out, but what are your thoughts on having an interest in ordering post or pre workout?

This would likely work, the local gyms around here usually do have a health food/smoothie place right outside or within a block. I've never stopped at one myself as I'm not a smoothie person but they seem to do a decent trade at the gym in the mall (planet fitness).

Possible idea, also offer basic selection of fruit to purchase. I def leave the gym wishing they had a small selection of fruit on my way out. I'd pay $1.00 to get a banana or apple from the gym on my way out.

My gym do this service. They also sell fresh fruit and protein bars. They seem to do quite well as there is always a small queue.

Our Equinox gym has a Juice Press, Healthy options café and even work spaces beyond just the workout amenities, classes, studios et al. There is a reason Equinox avails it. The gym in Pasadena has a kiosk Juice Press, upon entry to your right, which in the same vein as your idea for a small setup. Going towards SD, space isn't an issue, so it's more like gym campuses for some of them, even valet parking. Explore your consumer base & options.

FYI: The Starbucks across the street sees way more business from gym goers than the Juicing/healthy eatery.

Some people prefer to drink coffee as their pre, during and post workout beverage.
