Will i gain weight just by over eating for two days. When I go to the gym i run and lift weights and burn about 600 calories. I am really trying to lose weight. I just am on vacation for this week. I run every morning about five miles. No alcohol, just the food. I some times wake up at 177.4. I just fluxuates every morning on what I eat at night. Today I woke up at 179.8. I just did not work out as hard as I usually do the day before. I am just asking if two days of not working out and eating I would say not as much as I usually do cause me to gain weight or muscle mass?

You will gain weight if you eat more than you burn. But remember, it will take a lot to actually show up in true scale weight. 1 pound = 3500 calories OVER your TDEE. You definitely won't gain muscle in two days. Weight fluctuates day to day, so don't weight yourself every day. Also, I know I tend to be up after a particularly bad eating weekend or vacation if I've had a lot of junkier, sodium filled foods. That weight seems to go away in a day or two.0
