I am planning a trip to Hawaii in March....I need a flat stomach! Is it even possible at this point? After 3 kids?? Anyway....if anybody has a good, quick routine that has worked for them...please share it with me. I have never even attempted to target that area with exercise before...I'm at 133 lbs, most of my weight around my stomach area...definitely need some major toning! Thank you in advance ... =)

  • Stay away from foods and drinks that cause gas and thus bloating in the abdomen. The book "the flat belly diet" is centered around this concept. I found a copy at my local library.
Also tight abs could help too

    Hey,

well, you cannot spot reduce. There is also no "quick routine". When you exercise, you body will burn calories in your whole body. So you might loose weight in your breasts first (which usually happens to all women), then in your shoulders, then belly, then hips. Or it could be different. Every body burns calories differently.

However, you have 8 months and that is ALOT of time to get in decent shape or toned :)
I did P90X lean for 90 days and now I am in my 3rd week of TurboFire. I can only suggest either one of them.

    Good luck :)

i have 3 kids too, thought it might be impossible with as stretched out as it gets when you are pregnant. my stomach is pretty good now, a tiny bit of flabby skin (i keep hoping it will get tighter) but no fat, quite flat and toned. i believe with a flat stomach number #1 is to lose body fat, i am not talking about pounds but about body fat percentage. that is the only way that people get a 6 pack or definition in their muscles. also i do a lot of core workouts in the gym, my favorite being pilates once/week, it really helps with strong core muscles. i also do some 15 min ab classes and your standard crunches, twists, leg extensions, knee lifts, etc. i do at least 15 mins of abs 6x week. good luck and enjoy your trip.
