Gastric surgery coming up

Hi, I am a serial quitter. But I have reached the point where I have started my 6 months of guided help so I can have the sleeve done. I have not always been heavy, in fact I use to be fairly thin. I would like to meet and have people add me that have gone through the same thing.

Check Groups I think there's a bunch of them for Bariatric surgery. Good luck.0

I had RNY 19 years ago. The stomach stretches out no matter which surgery you have. I have gained a little over fifty lbs in the last five years. Remember to always measure your food. And keep breads, flour, rice anything Wight at a menimal amount. Being able to eat sweets comes back , keep it in moderation. I am a grazer and am now doing Keto just to jump start me. You can do this, but remember it’s a tool only. After that year anniversary it gets just as hard as it is now. I really think a lot of us have food addictions and that doesn’t go away. I congratulate you and wish you the very best.1
