Motivatation Monday -Waning Wednesday

Do you ever notice that on Mondays you are ready and raring to go, however by Wednesday you start to slip? What do you do you to get your second wind of motivation?

    You have to own your feelings..just don't act on them. Getting tired of sticking to a plan is part of the deal. You just have to push through and not give in. And then, it seems easy for a good long stretch of time again.

    So, the trick is to push through..see the results ..and those results reinforces why you're doing this thing.

    While are are feeling motivated, make a realistic plan. Then when your oomph is waning, you just follow the plan. This is also one reason many people find meal planning useful.

    Motivation is flaky and unreliable, so I don't use it at all. I make plans and then just do them.

    It's like brushing your teeth or doing laundry. You do what needs to be done because it's time to do it.

    Thanks for your input everyone. I do make a plan -for meals and fitness. Have all the intentions to sticking to it. I even think of the goal but somewhere my hold habits want to take hold. This battle is a beast!
