    New Mini Goal - #141 - It is Saturday! In the weekend. Need to stay strong!!! I have a long day ahead of me and lots of temptation.

    Day 2 (15th): 143.8; moderate day, dinner at mom's so higher in sodium than normal

    Day 4 (17th): 144.4 ugh. hopefully a result of too much sodium. need to focus and get this weight off!

    Day 25 (7th): 143.0 - So close to 142 and it is the weekend, my traditional downfall. Need to stay strong!!!
    Day 26 (8th): 142.8 - Ate healthy on Saturday and now need to make it through Sunday. I am finally getting over my illness and can start to pick up my exercise a bit too.
    Day 27 (9th): 143 - Disappointing to see the scale go back up to a 3 again. Such a slow process.
    Day 28 (10th): 141.8 - A pleasant surprise. Waiting for it to bounce back up
    Day 29 (11th): 141.2 - Still at 141. Ate a few chips and sweets (not many) last night & made myself sick. The more pure my diet becomes, the more sensitive I become to junk food. I am of the belief we become acclimated to junk food and once we remove it, our body speaks to us. I need to listen to my body. My husband is back in town now so my diet is about to change as in sodium content so I will be curious to see how the scale adjusts. Onward!

    I need to do some clothes shopping soon. Sizing is a nightmare (as it is for everyone). But I really dread comments by store staff and other women. I have once had a dressing room attendant rave very loudly (announcing my size several times) about how slim I was and that I'd look good in anything while a teenage girl in a fitting room was having a breakdown because her usual size didn't fit. I have been that girl so many times. She didn't need to hear what size I wore.

    Another time, a woman stopped me while I was browsing at Target, grabbed the hanger with the brightly colored size tag on it, and told me, "Real women don't wear size __'s". Ok then. I'm not a "real woman" according to her standards? I should have asked her to define them, but I was too shocked to say a word. What is wrong with some people?


    I think the whole sizing thing is strange too and don't like the way it affects women. I only recently allowed a sales woman to get clothes for me after losing weight. I am tall so I often take a larger size in order for it to fit even if I appear normal for my body weight. I think your woman at Target would have really thrown me off balance... I think my definition of a real woman is much different from her definition. :)

    I too can retain a crapload of water when I eat 4000mg of sodium. Feeling gross - yesterday was a salt and sugar disaster. I don't typically do this to myself, and not twice in the same week. I think increasing my calories by 100 a day might help - I don't feel hungry, but I don't really need to be losing at a pound a week anyhow. Lots of water today!

    Day 01 – 08/14 ……197.8……
    Day 02 – 08/15 ……195.4……Whoosh! A good day yesterday. Stayed on point all around.
    Day 03 – 08/16 ……196.0…… Oops. Pizza.
    Day 04 – 08/17 ……196.2…… Normal fluctuation. A conservative dinner out yesterday in which I showed much restraint.
    Day 05 – 08/18 ……196.0…… A bit better.
    Day 06 – 08/19 ……196.0…… Backyard BBQ always stalls me.
    Day 07 – 08/20 ……195.4…… A nice well-earned overnight drop.
    Day 08 – 08/21 ……196.7…… So happy I found the part 2 challenge. It is exciting to do the whole thing this time. I had an increase due to DQ yesterday. My own fault & today I’ve paid for it. Good luck everyone!
    Day 09 – 08/22 ……196.2…… Better. I fought the cravings last night & won.
    Day 10 – 08/23 ……194.4…… WooHoo! Worked hard for this yesterday eating just 1100 calories and burning over 3200. “ Let’s just keep it up Donna,” she says to self!
    Day 11 – 08/24 ……196.6…… Fish fry dinner out last night. Stayed within calories but over on carbs. No worries. Today is remedy day. Flushing sodium!
    Day 12 – 08/25 ……196.4 ……s..l..o..w.. progress. But it’s a journey, right?
    Day 13 – 08/26 ……193.0…… Travel Day. I hope I choose well & I don’t come home & blow the whole day bingeing just because I had a nice restaurant lunch while out of town. That’s the goal today! Scale will be up a bit tomorrow, but hopefully it will be just water retention that can be erased within 48 hours.
    Day 14 – 08/27 …197.8…… After Travel Weigh-in. Nearly 5 pounds gained overnight! Much of it has to be water from the restaurant food & the late night binge I spiraled into. I’ll be working hard on flushing today & making good choices.
    Day 15 – 08/28 ……195.6…… Losing some of that binge & travel weight from Monday. More to go…..
    Day 16 – 08/29 ……195.4…… BBQ last night stalled me a bit, but still moving slightly down on the scale.
    Day 17 – 08/30 ……193.6…… Extra low calories & carbs yesterday on purpose to shake things up! Yes to the whoosh. Today, back to my normal healthy plan & hopefully another difference (even if small) on the scale. Progress is what counts!
    Day 18 – 08/31 ……192.6…… Thrilled with this but traveling today so I must keep myself in control!

    Weight Loss in Auguast (18 days)……………….. 5.2 lbs

    Day 19 – 09/01……192.6…… Staying level with the scale, even over a holiday weekend so far. Going to try to keep it strong!
    Day 20 – 09/02 ……194.2…… I ate 885 Calories last night and gained 1.6 pounds. Wow!
    Day 21 – 09/03 ……194.8…… I obviously enjoyed my Labor Day Holiday. However, body is acting weird on scale (see yesterday) so its time to shake things up!
    Day 22 – 09/04 ……194.8…… Still shaking!
    Day 23 – 09/05 ……194.6……slightly better thanks to bathroom duty TMI. But I really need to work harder toward the 180’s. Going on a picnic later but will be mindful & will hike along river while there to offset the meal. I want the 180’s this month. I mean, I REALLY REALLY want it!
    Day 24 – 09/06 ……193.0……I really shook it up yesterday. Hiked instead of just walked and added a few carbs by having a lovely riverside picnic near the trail. Also danced for almost 20 minutes last night. Sample song, “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees. It wasn’t fast, but it got a great vibe & groove on and put me back in the mood to stay on my journey. Music working its magic! I hope you'll put that little 3 minute song on and be inspired today. Join me!
    Day 25 – 09/07 ……193.4……A slight gain because of a very severe diabetic sugar drop late last night that forced me to eat carbs specifically laid out by my doctor’s plan for my Type 2 Diabetes. Otherwise, I had a great on point day with calories & extra exercise. Moving on.
    Day 26 – 09/08 ……193.4…… Happy with this after the fresh zucchini bread from my neighbor last night!
    Day 27 – 09/09 ……193.6…… Finished off the zucchini bread last night so I just barely treaded water. Back to business today!
    Day 28 – 09/10 ……193.6…… Same old song & Dance. Come on September, throw me a bone!
    Day 29 – 09/11 ……193.6…… I hope for a whoosh tomorrow before the travels!
    Day 30 – 09/12 ……195.4…… Unexpected travel yesterday causing gain today. Now Travel & restaurant again today for an occasion. Another gain expected tomorrow due to probable water retention & lack of exercise/movement. Uggg.
    Day 31 – 09/13 ……197.8…… After Travel weigh-in. Likely a lot of water retention. I’ll be working on this the next few days.
    Day 32 – 09/14 ……197.4…… Still retaining traveling water from sodium filled meals & lack of movement!

    Day 3: 142.7 I have not even been trying this week. I need to get it together already and lose the last couple of vanity pounds.

    Day 6: 146.7 father in-law passed away. Bad day alcohol and food wise!
    Day 7: 148.2 geez back at work today and going to try and get back on track
    Day 8: 145.1 water and ate clean yesterday, plus got a great nights sleep
    Day 9: 144.1 going back down slowly. I just want to finish this month where I started at this point

    Day 11: 142.1 very low calorie again yesterday. Today I have laundry, house cleaning, and shopping to get done before the Cowboys game tonight. So hopefully I can stay on track and be good today.
    Day 12: 143.1 did well yesterday so I think this is just sodium or the couple of beers I had last night.
    Day 13: 146.9 Monday sodium and alcohol from last night. Hopefully I can flush it out the next couple of days

    Day 26: 144.5 seems I’ve evened out and I’m ok with this weight. I think I’m going to end my diet break a week early and start back on Monday.

    Day 29: 143.8 Last day of my diet break. I am back in 100% tomorrow. I have done really well maintaining though.
    Day 30: 145.6 Maintenance and diet break are done. I am getting under 140!

    Day 26 (8th): 142.8 - Ate healthy on Saturday and now need to make it through Sunday. I am finally getting over my illness and can start to pick up my exercise a bit too.
    Day 27 (9th): 143 - Disappointing to see the scale go back up to a 3 again. Such a slow process.
    Day 28 (10th): 141.8 - A pleasant surprise. Waiting for it to bounce back up
    Day 29 (11th): 141.2 - Still at 141. Ate a few chips and sweets (not many) last night & made myself sick. The more pure my diet becomes, the more sensitive I become to junk food. I am of the belief we become acclimated to junk food and once we remove it, our body speaks to us. I need to listen to my body. My husband is back in town now so my diet is about to change as in sodium content so I will be curious to see how the scale adjusts. Onward!

    Day 2 : 159.4 It's been tough getting out of the 159s :c but then again I just started training. That could be it( down an inch though on my wast)
    Day 3: 159.2 Ayeeeeee. 🔥
    Day 4: 159.4 le sigh. Waiting for that whoosh. It takes a couple of weeks for our body to get use to the training. When that whoosh comes oh boy! 😏 Expecting the unexpected 😎
    Day 5: 159.6 Ha.hA.ha.. I won't give up, BUT I will change somethings to help lessen the water retention. I still have been hitting my calorie goal. Also going to lessen my training to three times total body week, more easily maintainable for me. I might not be on here for a bit, we got a hurricane a'comin. #prayforFL
    Day 6: 162.2 NGL, had a stressful moment yesterday and relapse into food. I know this won't happen again(had a clean record of 11 days!! It's been a stellar ride. You're all so inspiring ☺️💞

    Day 02 – 08/15 ……195.4……Whoosh! A good day yesterday. Stayed on point all around.
    Day 03 – 08/16 ……196.0…… Oops. Pizza.
    Day 04 – 08/17 ……196.2…… Normal fluctuation. A conservative dinner out yesterday in which I showed much restraint.
    Day 05 – 08/18 ……196.0…… A bit better.
    Day 06 – 08/19 ……196.0…… Backyard BBQ always stalls me.
    Day 07 – 08/20 ……195.4…… A nice well-earned overnight drop.
    Day 08 – 08/21 ……196.7…… So happy I found the part 2 challenge. It is exciting to do the whole thing this time. I had an increase due to DQ yesterday. My own fault & today I’ve paid for it. Good luck everyone!

    Day 10 – 08/23 ……194.4…… WooHoo! Worked hard for this yesterday eating just 1100 calories and burning over 3200. “ Let’s just keep it up Donna,” she says to self!
    Day 11 – 08/24 ……196.6…… Fish fry dinner out last night. Stayed within calories but over on carbs. No worries. Today is remedy day. Flushing sodium!
    Day 12 – 08/25 ……196.4 ……s..l..o..w.. progress. But it’s a journey, right?
    Day 13 – 08/26 ……193.0…… Travel Day. I hope I choose well & I don’t come home & blow the whole day bingeing just because I had a nice restaurant lunch while out of town. That’s the goal today! Scale will be up a bit tomorrow, but hopefully it will be just water retention that can be erased within 48 hours.
    Day 14 – 08/27 …197.8…… After Travel Weigh-in. Nearly 5 pounds gained overnight! Much of it has to be water from the restaurant food & the late night binge I spiraled into. I’ll be working hard on flushing today & making good choices.
    Day 15 – 08/28 ……195.6…… Losing some of that binge & travel weight from Monday. More to go…..
    Day 16 – 08/29 ……195.4…… BBQ last night stalled me a bit, but still moving slightly down on the scale.
    Day 17 – 08/30 ……193.6…… Extra low calories & carbs yesterday on purpose to shake things up! Yes to the whoosh. Today, back to my normal healthy plan & hopefully another difference (even if small) on the scale. Progress is what counts!
    Day 18 – 08/31 ……192.6…… Thrilled with this but traveling today so I must keep myself in control!

    Day 19 – 09/01……192.6…… Staying level with the scale, even over a holiday weekend so far. Going to try to keep it strong!

    Day 21 – 09/03 ……194.8…… I obviously enjoyed my Labor Day Holiday. However, body is acting weird on scale (see yesterday) so its time to shake things up!

    Day 23 – 09/05 ……194.6……slightly better thanks to bathroom duty TMI. But I really need to work harder toward the 180’s. Going on a picnic later but will be mindful & will hike along river while there to offset the meal. I want the 180’s this month. I mean, I REALLY REALLY want it!
    Day 24 – 09/06 ……193.0……I really shook it up yesterday. Hiked instead of just walked and added a few carbs by having a lovely riverside picnic near the trail. Also danced for almost 20 minutes last night. Sample song, “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees. It wasn’t fast, but it got a great vibe & groove on and put me back in the mood to stay on my journey.     Day 25 – 09/07 ……193.4……A slight gain because of a very severe diabetic sugar drop late last night that forced me to eat carbs specifically laid out by my doctor’s plan for my Type 2 Diabetes. Otherwise, I had a great on point day with calories & extra exercise. Moving on.
    Day 26 – 09/08 ……193.4…… Happy with this after the fresh zucchini bread from my neighbor last night!
    Day 27 – 09/09 ……193.6…… Finished off the zucchini bread last night so I just barely treaded water. Back to business today!

    New Mini Goal - #140s - It is Monday. Back to work and working the program. I think my weight is at a standstill. I have to remind myself to be patient and hang in there. Now is not the time to give up.

    Day 1 (14th): 144.4; decent day.
    Day 2 (15th): 143.8; moderate day, dinner at mom's so higher in sodium than normal
    Day 3 (16th): 143.8
    Day 4 (17th): 144.4 ugh. hopefully a result of too much sodium. need to focus and get this weight off!

    Day 9 (22nd): 147.0 this was an unpleasant surprise

    Day 23 (5th): 143.4 - Still sick and still hanging in there. #142. Really want to make this mini goal.

    Day 25 (7th): 143.0 - So close to 142 and it is the weekend, my traditional downfall. Need to stay strong!!!
    Day 26 (8th): 142.8 - Ate healthy on Saturday and now need to make it through Sunday. I am finally getting over my illness and can start to pick up my exercise a bit too.
    Day 27 (9th): 143 - Disappointing to see the scale go back up to a 3 again. Such a slow process.
    Day 28 (10th): 141.8 - A pleasant surprise. Waiting for it to bounce back up
    Day 29 (11th): 141.2 - Still at 141. Ate a few chips and sweets (not many) last night & made myself sick. The more pure my diet becomes, the more sensitive I become to junk food. I am of the belief we become acclimated to junk food and once we remove it, our body speaks to us. I need to listen to my body. My husband is back in town now so my diet is about to change as in sodium content so I will be curious to see how the scale adjusts. Onward!

    Day 31 (13th): 142.2 It is Friday. Time to stay strong!!!

    Day 33 (15th): 141.8 Time to set a new goal of the 140s. Stay strong! Reminding myself of how I want to feel in the future and how working the program 'right now' is worth it.
    Day 34 (16th): 142.0 I know it is not much but still frustrating to go up. I need to be patient and hang in there. I believe I am doing everything right. I have been in this place in the past and know I need to give it time. But it is hard.

    Day 2 : 159.4 It's been tough getting out of the 159s :c but then again I just started training. That could be it( down an inch though on my wast)
    Day 3: 159.2 Ayeeeeee. 🔥
    Day 4: 159.4 le sigh. Waiting for that whoosh. It takes a couple of weeks for our body to get use to the training. When that whoosh comes oh boy! 😏 Expecting the unexpected 😎
    Day 5: 159.6 Ha.hA.ha.. I won't give up, BUT I will change somethings to help lessen the water retention. I still have been hitting my calorie goal. Also going to lessen my training to three times total body week, more easily maintainable for me. I might not be on here for a bit, we got a hurricane a'comin. #prayforFL
    Day 6: 162.2 NGL, had a stressful moment yesterday and relapse into food. I know this won't happen again(had a clean record of 11 days!! It's been a stellar ride. You're all so inspiring ☺️💞
    Day 7: 159.8 Nothing bad has happened to our city and my power is working. Got convinced to continue with this challenge, so I won't be giving up. Slowly creeping down :).

    Day 10: 157.2 😭. "I would like to thank not only God, but Jesus." 😂😄 What a battle this was, but finally got out of the 159s(hopefully)
    Day 11: 156.6 🙈 still weird to see it moving. Regardless of this external factor, I personally feel better on the inside. My chest doesn't feel tight anymore. I look forward to my healthy meals now/working out!

    Day 20: 155.2 I'm not too sure if this is accurate as I haven't been able to eat as much cause of the pain. Feels good to be back though. Miss y'all too pieces.
    Day 21: 156.0 I finally ate regularly so, accurate. :) I'm hoping to get halfway out of the 50's(155 here I come!)
