Planning for success

As I am coming to the end of the first of mourning the hurdle of the funeral will soon be upon me.
I have decided that I will give myself until after the funeral and then begin to try and tackle my depression....
So far I eat OK now which is better but I sleep to much an am perminantly exhausted.
Perhaps the gym or just some exercise will help.
What helps you? I need something gentle, I try to walk as I have a dog but it's a struggle to find the motovation.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to ALS last year. My anxiety and depression arrived right away. It also led to binge eating and emotional eating.

One day, I woke up and was ready to get better, physically and emotionally. I joined mfp two months ago. Within two weeks of eating pescatarian, my anxiety and depression symptoms were lessened and my cravings were gone. No more binge or emotional eating.

Find what works for you and commit to it. I wish you peace. 💟

I, too, am so sorry that you're going through the loss of a loved one. I'm glad you are reaching out through the fog for some understanding and helping hand. I know grief is so individual. But, maybe a new routine will help break old patterns. Maybe nature walks...or just going the gym to be around other people and be out and about. You can always stay for as little or as long as you like.

. Perhaps a new way of eating could be a distraction and change for you also.

Thank you both. A change of habits is probably a good idea as it will give me a chance to escape some memories for a while x
