Did you input your stats into MFP? I would stick with the numbers it gives you. It works for me.3

I dont understand what the image is showing.
However put your stats in to MFP, choose a realistic activity level and the appropriate rate of weight loss and eat that amount.
As you are already in healthy BMI range (I get you at 24.2) your rate should only be 1/2 per week.
Plus at least some of any excercise calories.

What happens if you put your info into MFP with an activity level of very active, and choose either 1 pound or half a pound a week of weight loss? I would start with those numbers and see how it works for you.3

About 250 less daily than you burn, for a 0.5 pound per week weight loss, because you don't have much left to lose. If that estimate is accurate (because it is an estimate, not a measurement), then about 2,400.2

hmm, OP is already in healthy weight range - I wouldnt go for 1 lb per week.
Just 1/2 lb.

Just 1/2 lb.
If there was 0.75 option (which she could always do manually), I think that'd be perfect.
The issue I have sometimes with starting someone on 0.5 is that it is a very tight deficit, and for those new to this and logging, if they are not tight with it, they can easily margin of error themselves out of a deficit. It's a better option for those who have already lost weight and are slowing down, who know how to better control and measure their intake.5 -
Well, I did 1/2 lb from scratch and worked for me.
I think making it 1lb makes deficit too steep and calorie level too low and person more likely to fall off the wagon1 -
I suggest what myfitnesspal says for 1/2 a week. What app is that on the screen shot?0

I use this site https://www.google.com/amp/s/livingwellthebestrevenge.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/the-number-one-reason-youre-not-losing-weight-and-what-to-do-about-it/amp/ gives great info on how to calculate the amount of calories you need to eat to reach your goal. I love myfitpal for tracking what i eat but i usually set a different calorie goal because i feel its to low for how much i workout.0

MFP is too low because you're supposed to log your exercise and eat the extra calories it gives you.
Most TDEE calculators include your exercise in your calorie goal. MFP uses NEAT then you log your exercise on top of that each day.1
