Good shoes similar to NB 840v4?

I recently got myself fitted properly for good shoes, but the $$ was a bit higher than I can spend. Of the 3 in the store, my favorite was New Balance 840v4. And at $125, it was also the least expensive of the 3. (The other 2 were Brooks, and a brand that I am not familiar with). I have tried researching online to find shoes with similar qualities, but each brand has their own technical terms so it's hard. I know that I need a neutral, stability shoe. I also need arch support because of my flat feet. If there are any shoe aficionados out there, i would love it if you could help point me in the right direction!

That’s about the lower end price point for a pair of quality running shoes. You’ll pay about the same or more for a different (but similarly featured) shoe.
What you may consider is checking Amazon/Zappos/6pm/etc for a prior model (840 v3 or v2) and giving that a shot. Typically prior models are available at a discounted price.1
