Any ideas on foods that would help lower my cholesterol and foods with lots of potassium?? I know the pretty basic foods but eats the same things all the time gets a bit boring and I go back to just eating whatever.

You can look up lists of foods that are high in potassium via google. One of the best ways to lower cholesterol is to lose body fat and increase exercise.
For most people, dietary cholesterol does not impact serum cholesterol. But it does for those with hereditary hypercholesterolemia. If that is the case, lower saturated fats and increase foods with soluble fiber, eg, oats, rice, beans, psyllium. Also, red yeast rice supplement can help.2 -
Leafy greens and beans of all kinds.
When looking for high potassium foods, make choices with more fiber.
