New Board member questions

I would like to know how to add to or edit a previous post. I wanted to update my post in the challenge board but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. Also, is it possible to create a "signature" that includes my ticker, and my stats, motivational quote, etc?

Thanks!

The edit window closes after 1 hour. Very annoying when you come back and see a typo!

We used to be able to include signature tickers, but that functionality is gone. I suppose you could c&p the code into each post, but I'm not willing to put that much effort in...

So in effect, one must copy and paste the entire old post, edit it to include new information, then repost? No wonder some of these threads are so immense! That makes me reconsider joining the challenge where you post your weight every day for 100 days! Think I will opt out for anything that requires more than a single post. :'(

In cases like that, most people just quote themselves then remove the quote tags and add the new information to the bottom of the post.

You can always hit the quote button and add to your original post/comment. I've done this with my own post in group chats.

Like when posting a recipe and forgot an ingredient or a step.
