Im still confused about my activity level I started at lightly active but have started working out 6 days a week for around 30 mins moderate to intense. I alternate between strength and cardio. Do whole body strength with 10 or 15 pound dumbells and bodyweight and run, well jog 2 miles on the other days. I also walk throughout the day between 7/10k steps using my fitbit to keep track.
Should I change my activity level or is it still lightly active as its only 30 mins of active exercise?
Im a female 5'2 29 and 188 pounds

in most cases, your activity level should be based on what you do BEFORE exercise.

mine is (always has been) set at sedentary. Any exercise i do, whether 30 minutes or 90 minutes, is then logged.

I'm a housewife. im sedentary. cleaning house doesnt count as deliberate exercise. much to my dismay. LOL

my husband is a sheet metal worker. He would be classified as very active. he also does not need to lose weight no matter how much he eats. jerk. LOL

Purposeful exercise should be logged as exercise.

Activity level is referring to your daily routine life, like your work, chores, cleaning, school, child-rearing, etc.

I would pick Lightly Active. Unless you are virtually housebound on the couch, no one is, "sedentary," really.

Pick one, use it for 4-6 weeks. Log all extra exercise and log food and your body weight. When that 4-6 weeks is over, you'll have sufficient data to be more clear on your calories. It's an experiment and we all have to do it ourselves, that's the only way to know. All of the calculations on this site and others are approximations/a place to start.

I missed the Fitbit part in my other post, so I have to amend what I suggested!

If your Fitbit is synced to MFP, then you'd set your goal on MFP to "sedentary" I believe. Otherwise you'd be double dipping on the numbers. I didn't use any body-tracking devices so I don't have any firsthand knowledge about it, but there is a Fitbit group: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

Here's the FAQ about that on the Fitbit group:

FAQ - Syncing, logging food & exercise, calorie adjustments, activity levels, accuracy
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10098937/faq-syncing-logging-food-amp-exercise-calorie-adjustments-activity-levels-accuracy/p1

Regardless, even the Fitbit can be off for many people so you'll still have a few weeks' adjustment period where you are figuring out how close it is for YOU.

I guess it depends what the rest of your day is like other than the workouts. Desk job, stay home parent scrambling after kids, dog walker for example.... Set the level according to that.
