JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~ ROUND 88

This should be an interesting Round, starting with a 3-day weekend.
SW: 235 (6/15)
CW: 218.6 lbs (8/30)
Round GW: 216 lbs
Day/Weight/Comment
08/31 - 218.6 Saturday - Ate on plan.
09/01 - 218.4 Sunday - Ate on plan, busy with cleaning and back to school prep. Had friends over for a BBQ & fire.
09/02 - 220.8 Monday - This is not unexpected, since I took Sunday off from tracking. I expected some gain. I'm pretty sure that most of this is water weight from salt/carbs.
09/03 - 220.0 Tuesday - Ate well. Was hoping for a bigger water weight drop but I'll take it. Maybe more tomorrow?
09/04 - 218.6 Wednesday - Ate on plan yesterday. There's the water weight gone. Took longer to recover from a weekend cheat day this time. No plans this weekend, so hopefully I don't have another jump and recovery. It's much too easy to add the weight on and much too hard to take it off again.
09/05 - 218.0 Thursday - Happy with this number. Baseball tonight and that usually means a drop tomorrow.
09/06 - 219.0 Friday - I'm thinking this gain may be a result of eating too little yesterday combined with exercising too much and my body deciding to retain a bunch of water. I knew I wasn't going to have a drop, when I didn't pee as much as usual this am. I've also been sneezing non-stop this morning, so I'm wondering if it's a cold beginning? I plan to get in some salt and water to replenish my body a bit from last night's double-header and take it easy.

1: 225.6 I didn't log yesterday because we had a family day-trip, but I tried intuitive eating. I guess it worked out pretty well.
2: 226.2 Too many carbs at dinner.
3: 225.4 I'm a bit surprised by this. I had an extra hour in my eating window, increased hunger from TOM, and went significantly over my calorie allowance. But hey, I'll take it!

08/31 166.7 Up a little more than I had hoped. I'm sure it's sodium. I went to the gym and lifted weights, then rode the bike for 45 minutes.
09/01 Didn't weigh Went to a party and ate too much taco bake. Wasn't bad on sweets so that's something but again, the sodium.
09/02 Didn't weigh House cleaning was my only workout and I didn't track it.
09/03 167.9 This weekend was not good for me food-wise. I ate at weird times and not real meals but lots of snacks. Healthy snacks for the most part but not real meals. My stomach is really unhappy with my food choices and made this known to me this morning. I came to work an hour late, but I'm here. I went to the gym on Saturday but that was it for the entire 3 day weekend. I just can't get motivated to ride the bike like walking outside. Thursday will be 4 weeks with only one real walk. My leg is definitely better but not normal.
09/04 169.4 SODIUM BOMB. I went crazy yesterday on sodium. Today I weigh 2 pounds more than I did yesterday. I know it's water retention since I didn't eat enough to gain 2 pounds overnight. Water, water, water is the theme of the day. Even knowing it's not real "weight" I was not happy to see that number. Rode the bike for an hour last night, going back tonight for another hour. The weather has cooled down a little, I want to walk but I'll wait a few more days.
09/05 169.5 I was within calorie goal yesterday but didn't drink as much water as I should have. I went to the gym but had no energy and only rode the bike for 30 minutes, even that was a challenge. I don't know if it's MS fatigue or if I'm starting to get sick. Time will tell. Keep up the good fight ya'll.
09/06 169.4 No real change. I drank 70 oz of water so I had hoped that combined with eating at goal, that I might have a whoosh but I guess not. Weightloss is fickle. I did not exercise, I ran out of time with a meeting and getting dinner. Yesterday was 4 weeks since I pulled my hamstring. Resting for 4 weeks is the recommended period so I will be walking this weekend. I need it, my mental state is not good. I am stressing out about things that don't normally get to me. The bike is nice but doesn't have the mental recuperative powers that walking outside does for me.

Exercise -- Aim for a 4-6 mile walk most days; weights either working in garden/house or at gym.

No idea. I’ve been eating responsibly and painting the house, so burning some off. Oh, well.
09/01 - 162.8
Finally!
09/02 - 163
09/03 - 164.6
Ate too much yesterday! Sodium, not enough water.... Better tomorrow.
09/04 - 164
Still flushing salt. I finished a bathroom redo yesterday — here’s a pic. The old version was old oak cabinets and icky tan walls. Now I’m painting and reorganizing the garage, and next up, the laundry room.
09/05 -163
More painting today. Whee!
09/06 - 162.8
First coat on the laundry room/furnace/hot water room — not the most fun I’ve ever had, but the sunshine yellow walls and beautiful turquoise door (painted a couple of weeks ago) make me happy. And happy women lose more weight and stay healthier! ;-) Have a lovely weekend, all.

08/31 137.7, On vacation through Monday so will accept a gain and hope to be back down by the end of the round
09/01 138.3, back home later tonight so food will be back to normal tomorrow.
09/02 138, working my way back down to hopefully match my previous low of 137.6 by mid week.
09/03 137.6, tennis lessons start today with local parks and rec. I’m taking a beginning class again and hope to be intermediate by the second part of the fall class registration time.
09/04 137.6, loved my tennis lesson yesterday. Today, I’m going to do an hour on the elliptical
09/05 137.4, snacked a lot yesterday and didn’t eat a real meal. This happens a lot during my TOM where I eat a lot of chocolate and popcorn, which are more tempting to me than during other times of the months. I have to not have certain items in the house next month since there are more filling ways to get calories. On track to see a 136 number this month, but it is a weigh in right after a weekend so it’s not a given unless I keep working hard.
09/06 137.1, attending a gala tonight so will try to keep calories in check as best as I can, but this is a rare occurrence so will enjoy myself too.

09/05 - 222.8 - Ugh, the first day in a long time I went over 200g of carbs. On a positive note, I made my step goal and had a great walk with my son.
09/06 - 222.4 - I can't wait to get out of the 220's. I'm frustrated because I know that I'm not making the best choices this week. I'm making mostly good choices with some not so great sprinkled in. Chips are my kryptonite and when I buy them for the kids I end up overeating them (I don't like to deprive myself, but I'll eat 2 bags instead of 1). Also, I've been so beat at the end of the day and unmotivated to exercise. I know that I'll feel better once I do, but I just don't....I know this will pass. I could just be my TOM making me feel this way as well. I should be proud that I've quit smoking and drinking for 2 months and have not been shoving everything I can in my face...

Goals this round: drop 2 lbs
08/31 - out of town DNW. Went to a friend's wedding and had a lot of fun. Managed to stay keto despite all the delicious looking temptations. Went for a hike before the wedding, so got a little exercise in
09/01 - out of town DNW. Went wedding dress shopping and the store had only three dresses that fit me 😭 most of their samples were street size equivalent 10 and below. I felt really crappy and embarrassed and also just stressed about how I'm going to find a dress I like if I cant even see what they look like on me. But I'm trying to move past it and start looking for wedding stores that carry bigger sizes. Made it home this afternoon and some friends stayed the night with us. They made cocktails and cookies and got a giant bag of peanut m&ms... All things I love and I kept wanting to give in but I didn't. So I have that positive to hold onto from today
09/02 - 204.4! First weigh in after two days away. A little bit up but not as high as I had feared. I looked so big yesterday in those dresses, I thought for sure I gained back. Now to hopefully make progress in the other direction! Doing lots of chores today but will try to exercise and stick to my calorie goals.
09/03 - 204.6 up again. I'm surprised it's not higher because I feel SO bloated this morning. I dont know why. Hopefully with exercise and good diet today, I can reverse this and start to go down a little
09/04 - 203.4! I can't believe it! So happy, I hope I'm able to keep this up and this isn't just a quick blip down before bouncing back up again. Had a lot of trouble focusing at work yesterday, trying to do better today. Sticking to my diet and hoping to get a good youtube workout in today. Yesterday I did a popsugar video that I liked, so maybe I'll see what other videos they have.
09/05 - 202.4! Wow, I'm so surprised but happy. Didnt exercise yesterday but I will definitely exercise today. Try to give my legs a break as they will get an intense workout tomorrow. Going to make healthy choices today and try to hold on to this loss
09/06 - 202! Oh man, was totally expecting to flux back up. Really happy that hasnt happened (yet!). Super intense workout today, can barely walk. Goinh to stretch a lot and take it easy tomorrow. Headed to a friends house for tonight and tomorrow. Will try hard to avoid the inevitable junk food temptations - packing lots of healthy snacks! Wont be able to weigh tomorrow at my usual time so fingers crossed I can maintain progress while out of town.

My aim is to be back to my pre holiday weight of 133 less a pound or two by the end of September (which will be end of round 90)
08/31 - DNW - Was out last night with hubby for our 17th wedding anniversary - champagne cocktails, beautiful chateaubriand, bottle of red, cheese board and liquer coffees. Didn't log but guessing it wasn't within calories for the day !! Hubby brought me up tea in bed this morning too so didn't bother to get up and weigh in first - although would definitely be up after last night!! Back to normal today - a gardening and DIY day today so just need to remember to drink plenty of water as thats where I often go wrong at the weekend and its pretty warm here again today.
Have a great weekend everyone
09/01 - DNW - got a long overdue lay in this morning and sat up in bed reading with my cup of tea - lovely way to start a Sunday.
09/02 - DNW - Tried to weigh but my scales decided to have a hissy fit and just show "Lo" - so need to get some new batteries for it today. I know scale would have been up though as not the best of weekends plus the usual Sunday night family roast. But a new week, a new month, kids all back to school and college this week, my work hours return to normal. Food planned and prepped for today, water bottle at my side on my desk.
09/03 - DNW - Got in from work yesterday and girls wanted to go to the cinema for a last day of the holidays treat so didn't get to sort batteries for the scales so still couldn't weigh this morning!! Work all day today then gym tonight so may not get chance today either! Waved my youngest off to secondary school this morning so no more school runs for me now and the other daughter heads off to college tomorrow... All change in our house from today - time to get focused on me I guess!
09/04 - DNW - no time to sort the scales yesterday. Plan to get sorted when I get home today. But food all OK and a tough gym session last night so feeling OK, water intake been pretty good and daughter loved her first day at secondary school - elder one headed to college today ....
09/05 - DNW - Still get round to sorting out scale batteries - has the worlds smallest screw head to change them, couldn't find a screwdriver anywhere to fit, ruined two knives trying to use that instead so will ask Hubby when he's home to use his tiny screwdriver set which is buried in the garage somewhere Feeling bloated today though - but food been OK but not great this week - so much going on with new the girls starting at secondary school and college, starting training with their new cheerleading team and me back to "normal" work hours and trying to catch up from holiday. Will take a couple of weeks trying to work out our new "normal" And hubby now away for a couple of days working so heading out for a girls treat with my daughters for a dinner of their choice (which I;m guessing won't be an overly healthy option!)
Will aim to get scales fixed and my head back in gear over the weekend and re-start afresh on Monday just in time for R89
09/06 - DNW but scales sorted!!! No work today so went for a 10 mile walk this morning (trying to do some prep for the marathon I've been asked to step in and do in a couple of weeks time!) so good exercise day and food so far good too with a decent dinner planned too

OSW-187 Sept. 2018
Goal this round: 159, alcohol only on weekends, lots of water and no junk food.
8/31-167
9/1-DNW
9/2-168-Not bad after the weekend. Not much exercise lately. I’ll go for a big walk this morning and be back on track.
9/3-169-Hmm-I read about reducing visceral fat by walking so fast that you’re winded. I did that for 5 miles yesterday and thought I was going to die! My back was hurting. I am going to try for my normal 7 miles this morning at a comfortable pace and some swimming that stretches my back.
9/4-167-I got a big walk in yesterday and ate pretty good. I have been quilting a lot and I sit a lot doing that. 1/2 walk and swim today.
9/5-167–Whew! Yesterday I stopped in the quilt store they asked me to stay for a birthday party and I ended up eating cake for breakfast! After that I went home and got some protein. Birthday party at a Mexican restaurant tonight. Yikes!
9/6-167-Whew, again! Walked 7 miles yesterday, ate good, then went to a birthday dinner at Mexican restaurant. I did pretty good with food, and had a piece of cake and drank water instead of the pitchers of margaritas that were passed around.
I have my coffee with all of you each morning.😊☕️9 -

Goal for this round: 224.4 (to get below R85 "low")
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31: 224.0 (-1.6)/18.9 (-0.2). A reward from heaven because I finally went to the gym? I went out to dinner with my wife, and split a sandwich with her. It was relatively healthy, but my willingness to portion control was what made my night a success.
9/1: 225.6 (+1.6)/19.1 (+0.2). I did my best last night with what I could regarding food (quality/quantity), at least as much as I could while out at a restaurant I love. It's likely my previous weigh-in was a slight exaggeration (weighed late) and that it was affected by me working out the night before. I'm going to the gym this morning, and I'm going to try my best to keep things under control today (wife's birthday party). If I have alcohol, it will be in the form of a mixed drink or two (spirit + diet soda). Going to the gym this morning (right now) to try to give myself a little wiggle room tonight. Oh, and to get myself into good habits! :-)
9/2: 225.6 (0.0)/19.1 (0.0). I went to bed late last night and got up late this morning, so this number is potentially a little bit under what it should be. I did pretty well yesterday at my wife's birthday party; I planned out what I was going to eat before I ate it (for the most part). I had one beer, but other than that it was all spirits + diet soda. I couldn't resist a tiny slice of the best carrot cake I have ever had (homemade by my sister-in-law). I also hit the gym before going to the party, which made it twice in three days that I made it there. I think I can sustain three times per week: Friday (with my wife), Sunday, and Tuesday, with basketball starting up this coming Saturday. I'll shoot for three times times at the gym, but I'll feel successful even if I can make it twice per week. Coming out of the weekend (particularly given two celebrations for wife's B-Day) still at my starting weight for the round feels like a pretty significant accomplishment.
9/3: 226.0 (+0.4)/19.1 (0.0). This is probably the right number, and not bad for the weekend I just had. I'm feeling okay right now, but this is going to be a stressful week. Trying to stay focused...
9/4: 226.2 (+0.2)/19.2 (+0.1). Last night (and much of my waking hours) was spent worrying about what was going to happen today (I'll talk about that tomorrow). I am pretty sure that I ate within calories (and according to plan), and I know that my weigh-in does not always reflect my previous day's efforts. Eat that, scale!
9/5: 224.0 (-2.2)/18.9 (-0.3). WHOOSH!!!. There's no good reason for this, and who cares!?!?!? I was above my calorie goal yesterday, but below maintenance. I have a lot of workplace stress right now; a coworker is basically trying to get me fired because she did not like that I reported her inappropriate behavior, and I'm being investigated as a result (my stressful day yesterday was meeting with the investigator). I'm going to the gym either tonight or tomorrow night, and basketball is FINALLY BACK! Saturday will be my first time in over two months (problem with gym permit).
9/6: 223.2 (-0.8)/18.8 (-0.1). This is the lowest weight I've been in months. I'm going to try not to get too excited about a number (just as I don't get too upset about a number), but I can't help but feel good about this. On a side note, I HATE the way my body looks as I lose weight. I tend to see losses first in areas I DON'T want to lose (thinning out of legs, shoulders, arms), and I don't see ANY CHANGES around the belly area. Weight training only exaggerates this, unfortunately (I love to lift, both upper and lower body). To make things even more fun, my wife loves to point out changes in my legs in particular (though she has not done this yet during THIS cycle, to her credit). The good news is that I generally know how this process goes. At about 215 my face thins out a bit, and when I get below 210 I start to notice a change in the midsection. I just need to stick with the process and utilize my delayed gratification skills and patience. And continue to stay accountable, of course! This group feels like the only thing that really works for me, in addition to a supportive friend or two (who also happen to be in this group!).

69 (76.8) lbs lost since Sept. 2017
@tiabirdie56 I know how frustrating this can be. It is so frustrating to try to figure out what is happening within our bodies, especially after a weight loss changes things. And we have both lost a lot of weight & are still smaller & fitter than before. The most important step is dedication to fitness & health and we both have truckloads of that. We'll be okay & we'll reach our goals. It just takes a little more time when it involves female hormones, our age, and the previous weight loss changes. However long it takes, its worth the wait. We got this girl!6 -
@jenn990205
I hope you have a great weekend. You've been through so much lately & deserve to have some relaxation & fun!

09/05 …..194.6 LOSS….. Surprised to see a drop. Even though I stuck to my pre-prepped keto dinner, I was still so hungry I ate 2 of them AND an Atkins meal replacement bar! Thank Goodness for TMI which I had missed for a couple of days! So, my NSV was that when I began to feel shaky with the sugar drop (T2D) and instinctively overate, it was with the proper keto friendly foods, just a bit too much! If it had not been so late I would have made a cup of bulletproof coffee, that usually does the trick! Yesterday’s stats: 1750 Calories In / 2707 Calories burned. 68 Net Carbs. 16,684 Total Steps & 7.06 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 5 hours & 16 minutes. I woke up very tired & groggy. I did some home & cabin cleaning at a leisure pace for 79 minutes and I took a 68 minute walk at a an approx 3.0 mph pace. Extra calorie burn 653. It’s a gorgeous day here in Northern Michigan. My neighbor & I may decide on a hike near the river & a diet friendly picnic.
09/06 …..193.0 LOSS ….. A great day yesterday! Whoosh. I changed my walk into a rugged terrain hike near the river & I added a short dance session last night to shake things up! Yesterday’s stats: 1200 calories in / 2674 calories burned. 61 Net Carbs mainly from my riverside picnic. 17,636 Total Steps & 7.35 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 6 minutes last night & I woke up tired. I did light cabin cleaning and house cleaning for 123 minutes. I hiked for 91 minutes and I danced for 18 minutes last night. Sample song “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees. Song was not too fast, but really gets the groove on. ( I know you’ll like this one @quiltingjaine) I hope everyone who is able will take 3 minutes & dance along. With winter coming in this cold, cold blustery state of Michigan, I know I’ve got to get back in the groove of indoor exercise. Join me!

@deepwoodslady, You are absolutely right Donna. You know that I'm always my own guinea pig.😁 Part of this gain was cortisol's blame, but part of this gain was an experiment. If I eat some form of starchy carb almost every day in a limited amount, and below my calorie level, how much weight will I gain? Five pounds was the stress. Then I began to buy a few foods and snacks for my family and I ate some too. My favorite stress snack, pretzels, were on deck for 2 months! Cake a couple of times, oatmeal cookies a couple of times, milk chocolate on occasion during my stress period. Rice, pasta, bread, mostly in crusty roll form, crackers. My family ate the bulk of it, but I indulged too. I'm SURE they thought that I must have lost my mind, because all of that has been a scarcity in my house for over a year. But guess what? I STILL do not crave those foods and they don't taste that good, not like before Keto. I find that bizarre. I ate those things because...? They were in close proximity. My mind is reset, now I'm working on my gut. I missed you! All of you! I'm back.8

So I am going to be out of town for the first 3 days of this round to attend my FIL's services. I am not going to have a lot of control over my food choices seeing as I will be eating what my husband's family will be serving and probably a lot of restaurant food. This round I am sure is just going to be another maintenance round for me, which I am fine with. If it takes me losing a pound or two a month until the end of the year to finally reach my goal I am fine with that.
8/31 - no scale out of town
9/1 - no scale out of town
9/2 - no scale out of town
9/3 - 148.7 didn't post yesterday, but did weigh.
9/4 - 146.7 going back down to my normal weight. Should be well under 145 by tomorrow. Was a very stressful weekend, it's so weird how death affects everybody differently. We actually had some lady show up to the services saying she had a will and wanted everything my FIL owned (which by the way isn't a lot, lol). It was so weird and over the top, never expected anything like that. I am just glad to be home and back to some kind of "normal" routine. We had to go grocery shopping after work last night as we had nothing to even cook dinner with. I also had 3 loads of laundry that needed to be done and had to help the 2 youngest finish unpacking. To say the that I am exhausted is a complete under statement. I put a pot roast on for tonight and am planning on picking up a red-box and doing nothing but relaxing. I am working on my water, but other than that my motivation is not great. I'm trying, but half heartily right now and I am ok with that. Glad to be back and just have some accountability at this point.
9/5 - 145.1 And we continue the water/sodium/stress loss. Maybe I will be back to my pre-4 day trip out of town weight tomorrow (143.6). I have just been working on water intake and eating at home since I have been back. I have not eaten at a deficit once and don't really plan on doing it till probably the next round. Tomorrow starts my birthday weekend and after the last couple of weeks I just need to have a little fun and relax. So far I have been able to maintain even with my crazy spikes between 142-144 for the last couple of weeks as long as I drink my water and don't go crazy with eating out.
9/6 - 145.1 Was really expecting to be lower, but am ok with being here. I am still on my diet break and am just trying to work on maintaining at this point. I am only about 10 pounds away from my ultimate goal right now, but have zero motivation. So I am hoping after this little break and after my birthday I will get it back and be able to get rid of these last couple vanity pounds that I still have. I am still eating low calorie dinners and lunches, drinking plenty of water, and watching my snacks. My breakfast is the only thing I have upped in calories, but not by much and my carbs have been higher.

And I see we again have a negative emoji. Sigh 😔
@Hilogirl2018 I think I’ve got it! (Paraphrasing Dr. Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady.). I love Keanu Reeves and I think I first heard that “Whoa” in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure!
@Anlaing016 It seems you have been eating a lot of carbs. Perhaps cutting back on those would make a difference. Have you tried LCHF? It worked for me and might be worth a try.
@everydaywechoose Should those dates be July and August or August and September?
@tiabirdie56 Tish, I meant to welcome you back when I saw you were posting again. It’s been a crazy summer! Good to see you again! Isn’t it crazy that stuff no longer tastes good - all those crappy carbs we used to love!
@deepwoodslady Donna, I love The Bee Gees! I was surprised to learn that our 22 year old DGD - daughter of @Mbabydoll loves 60’s music!4 -

NEVER GIVE UP! You can surprise yourself! I have.
What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
8/30 No scale. On a ship.
******
8/31 NWI Up before 5AM! BPC on board. Back to Long Beach and fly home. Will add final weight on 9/1 which might be up due to travel but will be fine. Still fit in my size 4 shorts - good thing because that’s all I brought! El Pollo Loco double chicken avocado salad. Half for lunch when we got home and half for dinner after picking up DGD and her friends at the airport, taking them for groceries and dropping them at their hotel.
9/1 122.0 Back home in my own bed last night. Ship’s beds are comfortable but there’s no place like home!
9/2 122.0 I didn’t drink enough water on the ship last week because I failed to take my larger water glass. Now need to get back at it. I’ve caught up on the posts from the time I logged in last night. Missed 137 posts in the last round but c’est la vie.
9/3 DNW Three 22 year olds in the house (DGD#2 and 2 of her high school friends made there annual girls trip to Las Vegas.) We gave them the hall bathroom which is where the scale is. It was in use when I got up early. My tummy is very grumpy this morning. Yesterday OMAD at Golden Corral, no snacks except cream in my coffee.
9/4 122.0 Realized in the evening that I had not had my BPC in the morning as one of the girls was sleeping on the couch. Bouncing back is harder when you get older- even a few months older. All of this travel is having an impact also. Being with @Mbabydoll was the BEST! I know I can do this. Making good choices with an occasional treat works. I did drink more water.
9/5 123.0 UGH This is the result of fries at lunch with the kids on Tuesday and the potato chips I DID eat on Tuesday night before they went in the disposal! Drank at least a gallon of water. Had to get some groceries so now I can make a salad again. Recover begins today!
9/6 121.0 Ate well, drank LOTS of water! And I made a salad for “breakfast” this morning.8 -
Round 88 – August 31 to September 9
Female, 5’, 66 years. Fall always seems more like the beginning of a new year for me than Jan.1. Summer is pretty much finished and time to plan what I’ll be involved in for the winter. So I looked back over the last year to see how my weight ups and downs had gone. It’s pretty obvious: stress = weight gain, increased activity = weight loss, for me. I’m not ready to go back to the gym till October but goal this round will be to add exercises at home + more yard work (want to be finished with that so much that I can almost taste it – but just have to keep plugging). Other goals – finish log each day, only yogurt or fruit in the evening and nothing after 9 p.m. SW – 162.4, GW – 161.4, UGW – 140. (This really should be 125 or 130 but that seems like such a long ways to go and 140 would be a huge improvement.)
Day/Weight/Comment
08/31 – 162.6
09/01 – 162.6
09/02 – 162.8 – Relax day yesterday and did not manage to track or exercise but ate fairly reasonably. Today is already better – made myself do some exercises before breakfast, seems that is the only way to get them in, and decided to make that my habit goal. It seems the only way to keep my waistline from “relaxing outward” is exercise that area. Otherwise my posture goes and waist is bigger even if my weight is the same and I’m getting other exercise like walking.
09/03 – 162.6 Pretty good day for calories but sadly did not log all. No LNS though, even though I was tempted. Ten min. stretching exercises but not abs. Three hours yard work.
09/04 – 162.8 Logged all, only a peach with fat free yogurt in the evening, warmup exercises but didn’t get any further. About 4.5 hrs. digging out old flower beds. The one spot is such slow going – grass, thyme, moss, lilac suckers, etc. Suddenly had an idea last night after supper – work in a different bed – it went so much faster and could keep working as it got dark because it is under one of the house lights!
09/05 – 163 – Did do my morning exercises but then had to do a ‘quick’ writing project before working outside. Ended up spending the day on it with a little left for today so no further exercise. Did not log all cals. but most and kept them reasonable.
09/06 – 163.8 – Thought I might have a drop as got a lot of exercise yesterday. Did eat back some of the cals. though. Logged all cals., warmup exercises, 4+ hours digging out flowerbeds. Rainy today and my arm is sore so taking it easy and tidying house.

08/31-208.9 Plan today is for hubby and I to organize the bedroom closet and storage room. Husband started back up on MFP this week. He lost 50lbs easily a couple of years ago just by stopping to eat junk food, but he wasn't ready to make any other changes to lose the next 40-50lbs and he has maintained his weight for the last 3 years. This week he started to track his food and he was shocked on how many calories he was eating.
09/01-208.9 Did not drink a lot of water yesterday and had more snacks then usual. Organized and clean storage room yesterday and working on bedroom today. Ankle still sore, so went out for a walk instead. Strength coach today and then going out to lunch.
09/02-209.8 Had a great lunch at a local mexican restuarant. I didn't drink much water yesterday, so plan for today is to get my water in.
09/03-210.5 Probably still seeing the effects of lunch from 2 days ago. Weight is till trending downwards. Success yesterday is getting my water in. Strength coach today.
09/04-209.8 There goes some of the water weight. Need to still get some more water in this evening.
09/05-210.5 Hardly drank any water yesterday. Working on water intake today.
09/06-210.5 Feeling heavy. My intestinal system still hasn't fully recovered from my vacation from over a month ago. Weightlifting at the gym tonight.

08/31 - 123.4 :: was very active and unintentionally ate far lower than my calorie limit because of being busy through out the day. Made healthy choices. Last round was slow progress. This is a kicker to start with.
09/01 - 124.4 :: last drop was surprising, seems numbers evened out. Over calorie limit by < 100 cals. Not very active. Ate healthy.
09/02 - 124.4 :: ate a bit higher than calorie limit, <50 cals. Decently active. Ate healthy. Breakfast choice of Sago was very calorific, be cautious next time.
09/03 - 123.6 :: Ate in calorie limit, ate planned snack and controlled portions. Not very active.
09/04 - 124.4 :: Ate in calorie limit, ate planned snack and controlled portions. Decently active.
09/05 - 125.4 :: Ate under calorie limits, controlled portions. Active. TOM started, hence a little upswing.
09/06 - 125.4 :: Ate in calorie limits, was able to fit cravings in allowed limits. Decently active.

8/31 181.5 (-1.5) level was very low. Food intake was good, managed to hit the gym and give it my all.
9/1 181.5 +/- 0 Went to the gym with SIL, some cardio, shoulders, and back. I was craving carbs today.
9/2 182 +.5 Gym day included cardio and legs @anlaing016 has strong legs and pushed me to the limit. Who needs to walk on arm day right?
9/3 180.5 (-1.5) Boot camp in the morning and 45 minutes of cardio. Meal prepped early in the day to keep myself on track.
9/4 180 (-.5) Boot camp and 30 minutes of cardio. Eating clean seems to be working
9/5 181 +1 This challenge and logging my food seem to be working with the weight loss. Hard time finishing my water today. Boot camp and cardio but sat a lot at work.
9/6 180.5 (-.5) felt very sluggish today

8/31: 197.8 (+/- 0) I didn’t think yesterday was horrible but I guess it wasn’t great. Weighed in today after my light breakfast. But not gaining is ok by me. Guess I’ll make this a 9 day challenge.
9/1: 199.0 (+1.2) well this challenge isn’t working so much so far. I did good all day yesterday. Even went to a wedding and didn’t eat. Ate McDonalds late but only half the food. Still early. Still hopeful
9/2: 198.2 (-.8) not to bad. Had a good workout yesterday. But ate a lot of junk food in small quantity. Mostly because I had a late lunch/ early dinner and was getting hungry. As long as it’s going down. Hopefully I can get back to my starting weight
9/3: 197.6 (-.6) yesterday wasn’t great but wasn’t horrible. Today is my daughters birthday and she’s requesting carb overload for birthday dinner. I’ll try to control myself. But sometimes there has to be risk to get a reward.
9/4: 198.0 (+.4) not to bad for celebrating my youngest daughters birthday with carb overload. I did my best to have portion control. But I also hadn’t eaten most of the day knowing most my calories would be going to dinner. Plus also haven’t slept much the past few days. Going to hit the gym and hope I can work it off.
9/5: 198.4 (+.4) guess working out and eating good only lasts for so long. Seems whenever I get to a low and maintain what I’ve been doing my body decides to gain. I’ve had this problem for a long time. It’s starting to look like I’ll never get where I wish to be. And it’s not just muscle gaining from weight training. Just like my life in general. When I start to see some good light darkness quickly takes over.
9/6: 198.0 (-.4) weighed in kind of late today. Didn’t have much motivation or drive to do it this morning. But I did. No matter the results I will stick through it. And with the help of a few people I will stay positive and keep pushing towards my goal no matter how long it takes. The best results are in the mirror not the scale. And I just have to remind myself of that daily. One day at a time with my accountability partners I’ll get there. Thanks! (They know who they are)
