So I’ve been doing cardio the last couple weeks with small results, I really want to get into weight lifting but I don’t know where to start or what I’m really doing. Any good advice, forums, or videos to watch?

Get a personal trainer or do beginner classes1

I like stronglifts 5x5 because it is a very simple lifting plan. You can watch YouTube videos and look at pictures online, or ask a trainer at the gym to teach you the lifts.1

I use an app called SWEAT by Kelsey Wells. There are gym workouts and home workouts. Every week I get 5 workouts for various body parts. There are little videos of each exercise and instructions. The workouts run in 12 week cycles and progressively get more challenging. I paid $120 for the year and really like it. There are also lots of Instagram pages with followers.
