My daughter and husband were both gone and I was home by myself. For some reason, that seems to trigger eating more for me. I think that food helps me feel less lonely. I did not go crazy, but I ate after dinner. I had an activia yogurt with chocolate chips on top. At least it wasn’t ice cream, but I am disappointed that I had it. It put me 100 calories over my goal. It helps to admit it. I’ll do better tomorrow.

Do you ever finish under your goal?
What is your rate of loss set at?
Do you typically restrict or avoid sweets?
What’s wrong with ice cream?
You are still in a deficit for the week - 100 cals over goal likely won’t even cause a blip on the scale.3 -
Could you balance a night time snack with a little night time workout when this happens in future? Not to “punish” yourself for eating, just to earn a few more calories and also fill up some of your alone time. A couple of YouTube videos with fun music might be just the ticket...2
