New to this app. Time for a new me

Hi everyone, I’m Joy. I’ve never used this app before so thought I’d give it a go, as I’m hoping to loose 3 stone. I’ve been doing it for about a week and it’s certainly opened my eyes to how I should be eating.
Looking forward to seeing how everyone else is doing and any advise would be great.

    Hello. I'm new to this as well. I did not realize how many calories I was actually consuming until this app. It opened my eyes for sure! I need to lose at least 50 to 60 lbs. Hope to talk to all soon. We can share recipies and our progress. My name is Amber.

    Welcome! I recommend you weigh most of your food as cup measurements aren't always as accurate. And I suggest you do not estimate your food portions, it is very easy to underestimate that sort of thing. Last, log everything. And I mean everything You ate three crisps with lunch? Those can add up fast. If you go over your deficit one day don't get too down on yourself, one day won't reverse your progress. Giving up will.
