How many calories should I count for a half hour dumbbell routine that I have integated into my aerobics program for strength?

I'm 6'1", 213 lbs and burn around 145 calories per 1/2 hour of weight training..only resting 30 seconds between sets. Cardio on the other hand, I burn around 400 per 1/2 hr ... (these are MFP numbers...I think the weight training should be more but I don't eat back all the calories anyway.)2

If you're doing it at normal weight training speed, reps and sets with rests between, then the MFP database estimate for "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)" should be within the realm of reasonable. If you're doing high speed, high reps, cardio-fashion with the dumbbells, maybe use "Circuit training, general".
The database wouldn't be my first go-to for all types of exercise calorie estimates, but it's probably as good as most anything for strength training. The important thing is to use a consistent estimating method for any type of exercise you do regularly, then adjust your eating if needed once you have 4-6 weeks of solid logging data to go on.0
