Caregivers?

Anyone else a caregiver to family or loved one? I take care of my 18yo special needs daughter and have made a commitment to being the healthiest I can be to continue to care for her. Please add me if you’d like to share in the support for each other! 😁😁😁

Sending you all the Blessings! MFP has helped me achieve my goals with the calorie count. I’m cheering for you!

    You can do it! 🌺

I’m a caregiver for my MIL with dementia and my 14 yr son with special needs. Yes I’m trying to get back on track with living healthier. It is hard to take care of yourself and those in your family. <3
  • I’m carer to my amputee husband. He lost his left leg above the knee in October 2016. Nothing has quite been the same since and I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I need to be the active and fit one of us for our daughter. Hard going but happy to support others. Feel free to add me.

I am a caregiver for my 99-year'old mother. It's been a rough year adjusting to ... losing my freedom. In other words, helping her is not a problem, but helping myself is. Even with aides coming in 3 times a day for an hour each time, I am exhausted.

Though losing weight and exercise should be a priority for me, balancing time between caring and my own needs is ... not balancing well!
