ADHD MOMS OF ACTIVE KIDS

Being a mom is a struggle in and of itself. Finding balance between them and us, getting them to activities and still having a life to call your own! Adding having ADHD to the mix brings it to a whole new level. The forgetfulness and frustration causes me to go into depressions and get severe anxiety. The anxiety and depression cause me to give up, settle, and focus all my energy on my kids. It's not healthy. Therapy has taught me that I need to find that balance. It is always easier to do that sort of thing if you have a support group that either understands where you are coming from and has a common goal or has been through the battle and won! Where are my sisters out there!
