Help me identify a dessert

Well, obviously the easy thing would have been to post a photo, but my kids actually ate everything before I had a chance to take a photo...
So, a relative returning from a trip to Singapore brought back a tin of what I could only describe as green spongey cake. Not very sweet, and judging by the taste, it contained pistacchios or some other nut among other things but I do not think this was giving it its green colour.
He said he had it several times over there and it was sold at several places, but he did not remember at all the name, and there was no label in the package.
Never seen anything like it.
Does anyone know what it might be?
Yes, I know my description is pathetic
