Why is it OK a woman is bisexual or bicurious but when a male is bi then he is confused?

    Because double standards rule society as a guy I can have sex with as many chicks as I want and it's ok if a woman does the same thing she's a *kitten*. Just part of life we have to just accept

    One partial explanation I was given by a history professor was that during the reign of England's Virgin Queen, a law was put before her criminalizing homosexuality. It contained verbiage mentioning male-male homosexuality and lesbianism. She refused to sign it while reference to lesbians was in the law, because she simply refused to believe that such a thing (lesbianism) existed.

    In other words, lesbians and bisexual women have historically had less stigma attached to them than their male counterparts. "Less stigma" is a far cry from "free of stigma."
