Hi, everybody. I'm diabetic, getting healthier so I can have knee surgery, and need to lose 100 pounds.
I also love to cook and want to focus now on better nutrition and lower sugar. I'd love to have some supportive friends. Add me and I'll support you back! Shoot me some recipes to help get me started!

Welcome to the community!
If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.
I've had both knees and one hip replaced. Best wishes on that surgery.
Buy a food scale. Weigh everything you eat and log into the food diary.
Good luck with your journey!1 -
I also have to lose some weight to have knee replacement around 20 pounds which won’t be an ideal weight because I will still be obese. That is just how much I have to lose so he feels safe operating on me. Feel free to add me. I have around 100 pounds to lose to be at an ideal weight give or take some pounds.0
