Hello and Welcome to MFP. You are in the right place to get the job done. Congrats on your first child. I have been using MFP for 35 days now. In that 35 days I have ditched 10 lbs. My suggestion to you is: Eat filling foods for breakfast and dinner, drink all your water, make sure to exercise, and stay positive. Best of luck!

Welcome. If you keep track of your calories and burn more than you take in than you will reach your goal. Try and throw some physical activity in there as it will help you with your weight loss. Find something that you enjoy doing so it doesn't seem like work. For me that is basketball. Good luck and do not hesitate to ask questions.

Counting Calories does help alot and I have learned proper nutrition too. I really like this site. It holds me accountable and tracking your food daily really helps. So far I have lost 7.5 pounds in 2 weeks and my husband has lost 10. I gained alot during all my pregnancys, but for some reason after the last one (#4) I never got all the weight totally off. So I am trying a different approach this time... it isn't a diet, it is proper nutrition. Congratulations on the baby :) and good luck on the wight loss.
